If you have a booking with us, we may be in touch soon to discuss.
If you don’t hear from us, assume your booking remains.
Our receptionists CANNOT advise you whether your appointment is allowed if there is doubt. Every case will be different. You may decide yourself based on the rules outlined below. If you are not sure, you can request a call from a clinician. If you have an appointment already booked (as of 10th Aug) your clinician will be reviewing your case in the coming days/hours and ONLY be in touch if the appointment needs to change.

There are very important new government rules for assessing Allied Health (That’s us at Mymojo Physio) during stage 4. Unfortunately, you may have read misleading information on some DHHS pages so far. The governing bodies for our professionals and DHHS have now provided more clarity to health professionals.
Face-to-face appointments are still available, but restricted. To help keep people home, reduce virus spread and save lives, we are all being asked to stay home unless our outings are essential.
Government rules for appointments in this lockdown are :
- Face to face appointments can only be made if they are essential to prevent significant decline.
So does this apply to you? This can be tricky to answer, as the answer can differ from one case to the next.
As a result of this we are assessing our patients to determine if your appointment is considered to be essential.
You do not need a GP referral.
The 5km travel rule does not apply to these appointments. Your appointment SMS reminder serves as legal proof of reason to travel. Should you still feel a little unsure or uncomfortable with attending your appointment, we can provide, upon request, a letter outlining the above.
We have well established protocols for personal protection and infection control and are closely following the guidance provided by the Australian Government and the DHHS.
Of course, in line with current advise, it is also compulsory for everybody within our clinics to wear masks and this remains a condition of entry to Mymojo Physio.
